The collection contains papers related to Jewett's service as attorney to the Nez Percé Indians in the Court of Claims, case no. L-194, Joseph's Band of Nez Percé Tribe of Indians vs. The United States, 1938-1942. The files include correspondence with Clarence C. Dill. There are also two boxes of material from Jeanne Jewett, including family photographs, correspondence and scrapbooks.
