Arrangement

This collection has been divided into two series:

Series I: Topical, 1909-1999, 12.0 linear feet

Series II: Persons of Interest, 1856-2009, 2.0 linear feet

Custodial History

The materials in this pamphlet collection have been drawn from a number of sources including archival collections, mailings to the Archives, and items picked up at events.

Acquisition Information

Materials in this collection have been acquired from a number of sources over a period of several decades. The immediate source of acquisition of most materials is unknown.

Processing Note

Materials in this collection were placed into folders according to subject or topic and organized alphabetically by folder title. In 2011 the Montana Pamphlet Collection was reprocessed. At this time a portion of the materials were discarded for having insufficient research value or because they duplicated other holdings in the Archives, and a portion were pulled out for item-level cataloging and addition to Special Collections. In 2014 the items in Series II were re-incorporated into the collection.
