The Benjamin Franklin Johnson typescript statement is comprised of one undated manuscript, written by Johnson, of his affiliation with the LDS Church. After some person ruminations, Johnson discusses "the true position" of the LDS Church and his friend, Joseph Smith Jr. He writes of Joseph Smith's mistreatment by mobs, his ability to heal, and his hesitancy over plural marriage. He also discusses Brigham Young and his abilities as a colonizer and religious leader, among other topics.
