Federal committee concerned with water and land resources.
The U.S. Inter-Agency Committee on Water Resources was established in 1954 to coordinate policies, programs and activities in the field of water and related land resources. Composed of Departments of Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Health, Education and Welfare, Army and Federal Power Commission. It replaced the United States Inter-Agency River Basin Committee.
