Content DescriptionReturn to Top

The Pacific Photo Company Postcards consist of 8 photographic postcards depicting Oregon Agricultural College (OAC) campus scenes and buildings and students at a football game between OAC and the University of Oregon. The postcards show lower campus; the Agriculture Building (now Strand Agriculture Hall), bandstand, and Mines Building (now Batcheller Hall); and OAC students at a football game versus the University of Oregon in Corvallis. One of the postcards of the Mines Building shows the structure near the completion of construction in 1913. One of the images of the football game shows a photographer with a camera on a tripod in the foreground.

The images are individually number P023:1 through P023:8. They also include original captions and numbers printed by the postcard company (no. 10, 37, 42, 54, 63, 73, 115, and 145). One of the images (no. 54; P023:7) was published by the Patton Post Card Company.
