The Chi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was chartered at Oregon Agricultural College in 1915. It was the first chapter of a national sorority established at Oregon State. It continues to be an active chapter.

The Alpha Chi Omega Chi Chapter Minutes document weekly chapter meetings during February through May of 1918. The minutes address chapter business including roll calls, invitations to the sorority house for dinner, treasurer reports, discussion of new pledges, ordering badges, scheduling initiation ceremonies, organizing social events, and practice for the annual stunt show.

Acquisition Information
The minutes were transferred to the Special Collections & Archives Research Center by the Crop and Soil Science Department in 2013. The department may have received the materials from Katherine Strome, an Alpha Chi Omega member at the time these minutes were created, or her family member.

The Ruth H. Kennedy Scrapbook (MSS Kennedy) was assembled by an Alpha Chi Omega sorority member to document her student years at Oregon Agricultural College in 1915-1920. The Delta Zeta Sorority Chi Chapter Scrapbook (MSS DeltaZeta), Gamma Phi Beta Sorority Photographs (P 277), and the Panhellenic Council (RG 056) and Greek Life Office (RG 223) Records also document sororities at Oregon State University.
