Content Description

The collection consists of newspaper clippings, a scrapbook, family portraits, and photographs of wheat harvest, the memorial address from the Washington State Legislature for Dr. Nelson G. Blalock, the prospectus for "Blalock Island Garden Tracts", a biography of Phoebe Blalock, and an academic paper written by her.

A transcript of the diary kept by a member of the overland wagon journey, led by Dr. Blalock in 1873, is part of these papers.
