A label on the front of the album reads: "Photo file / Advertising Dep't / The North Bank Road." Handwritten in ink above the label are the words "Old pictures / Oregon Trunk." The bulk of the photographs in the album are by photographer Fred H. Kiser; some are by the Angelus Studio and Benjamin A. Gifford. Subjects and places depicted in the photographs include the opening of the Celilo Bridge; Government Canal on the Columbia River; Kloan Bridge; the Deschutes River; Sherars; Tygh Valley; White River; Mt. Hood; Mt. Jefferson; the Three Sisters; Willow Creek Canyon; Crooked River Canyon; Cline Falls; Benham Falls; and the Warm Springs Reservation.
