Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Bill Makino was an undergraduate student at the University of Washington and member of the Nisei, second generation Japanese Americans, in Seattle, Washington. Makino was sent along with his parents to Camp Harmony in Puyallup, Washington in May 1942 and later, to Minidoka in Southern Idaho to protect "military security" during World War Two
