The Bureau of Community Development was organized in 1959 by Governor Clyde as an office within the University to assist the communities of the State of Utah with problems associated with rapid growth along the Wasatch Front and the loss of population in rural areas. The Advisory Council was comprised of both University and community leaders. This collection consists of Advisory Council meeting minutes from 1972 through 1978.
