Chester Andrus Vincent entered the Oregon Agricultural College in 1906 and graduated in 1910 with a degree in civil engineering. He was born on April 1, 1889, in Troutdale, Oregon, and died December 17, 1972, in Los Gatos, California at the age of 83.

The C.A. Vincent Photograph Collection consists of photographic postcards documenting student life at Oregon Agricultural College (OAC) assembled by Vincent during his student years. The collection includes several images of military cadets and two images of campus work days. Of special note are images of the 1909 orchestra, the domestic science band, and construction of the new armory (now McAlexander Fieldhouse).
