Historical NoteReturn to Top
Leon L. Bulen was born on January 26, 1888 in Dexter, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Minnesota where he received his law degree in 1911. Bulen came to Missoula, Montana, in 1912 and opened up his first private practice in the Duncan and Peterson Block. In 1940 he relocated his offices to the Western Montana Bank Building. He was prominent in irrigation law, and was secretary to the Board of the Missoula Irrigation District for more than forty years. Bulen practiced law for fifty years in Missoula and was extensively involved in the community. He died on June 14, 1962.
