Summary
Between 1967 and 1973, the Executive Vice President reported directly to the President of the University of Utah and supervised the administrative Vice President and the Financial Vice President. In 1973 the position of Executive Vice President was abolished in a general administrative reorganization. During the period covered by these records, Neal A. Maxwell and later John A. Dixon served as Executive Vice President. This collection contains correspondence, memoranda, and reports to and from the office of the Executive Vice President. Included are materials relating to the Alumni Association, Computer Center, development, planning, the University of Utah Medical Center, personnel, public relations, and the Special Events Center (later called the Jon M. Huntsman Center). Also included is correspondence with other administrative officers.
