Content Description

The collection (1927-1963) contains eighteen volumes of diaries, with the following date ranges: 1927; 1935-1938; 1949; 1952-1961; 1963. The diaries contain almost daily entries, covering a remarkable number of decades, with summaries of events great and small.

There are also folders of correspondence, filed by date.
