Erastus G. Farmer was born in Florence, Nebraska in a covered wagon en-route to Salt Lake City on June 29, 1861. He lived most of his life in Idaho and was an active member of the LDS church, serving as a missionary, a bishop, and a high councilman for 10 years. He died on July 31, 1937.
