Kappa Omicron Phi is a national fraternity of professional women in the field of Home Economics, founded in 1922. The Alpha Psi Chapter was established at The University of Montana on October 27, 1962, by Elizabeth Morales and alumnae members in the area. The objective of the honorary was to promote scholarship, leadership, and interest in Home Economics. Active members were majors and minors in Home Economics. The chapter raised money to fund scholarships for outstanding Home Economics students.
