Historical NoteReturn to Top
The University Hospital opened in 1965. Prior to that time, the University contracted with Salt Lake County to provide patient care and clinical training at the Salt Lake County General Hospital. The University of Utah Medical Center includes the University Hospital as well as several research facilities.

This collection contains reports, memoranda, and expense summaries (1971-1976) from the Financial Services Office in the University Hospital. Included are Hospital Services records consisting of statistical and monthly reports of Salt Lake County General Hospital (1953-1965), and monthly reports of the University Hospital (1965-1969). Also included are audit committee reports from both facilities (1958-1970).
