- Arvo Hukari of Hood River, Oregon served in World War I as an enlisted man in the 25th Company, 7th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, at Ft. Lewis, Washington. The collection (1918) contains correspondence between Hukari and Dorcas Aurelia DeWitt (who would become his wife) while he was serving in WWI.
