Biographical NoteReturn to Top

George H. Robinson (1868-1950) was a resident of Laketown in Rich County, Utah where he owned and operated a mercantile store. He was a missionary to England in 1896 and 1897 and he served as Laketown's ward bishop from 1905 to 1934. He also served as the Rich County Superintendent of Education from 1903 to 1905, and as a member of the school board from 1917 to 1935.

This collection consists of five oversized group portraits which (aside from 1:03) include George H. Robinson in the image. The photographs show LDS missionaries to England, female members of the LDS Church in England, and the 10th Session of the Utah House of Representatives (1916). All but one photograph by W.H. Parkinson, West Bowling, Bradford.
