Summary
In 1952 the University of Utah Board of Regents began legal action to gain independence from state budgetary control. In 1956 the Utah Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the Board of Regents was "subject to and bound by laws of Utah from time to time enacted." This collection contains newspaper clippings and photocopies thereof concerning the Utah Supreme Court decision in 1956 as well as two copies of the decision.
