Michael Fessier was born in Angel's Camp, California. He was a newspaper reporter in San Francisco, and edited papers in Burlington and San Rafael, California. He commenced writing fiction in 1928, went into motion picture work, then returned to fiction. He also wrote for television. Fessier died in Northridge, Calif., in 1988.
