Historical NoteReturn to Top

Oswald Berg, Jr. was a Bozeman, Montana architect and son of a Meagher County rancher. Berg attended Washington State College and served as an architect in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He began professional practice in Bozeman in 1949, doing business until 1983 under the corporate names of O. Berg Jr. and Associates, BGS Architects, and Berg-Grabow and Partners. Berg also served as president of the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce in 1969. He designed many buildings in Montana and neighboring states, including residences, schools, and businesses.
