Archives West Finding Aid

This collection consists of ledgers containing photographs and brief biographical sketches of students enrolled in the College of Medicine from 1928 through 1955. It is unknown if this collection is a complete record of all students enrolled in the college during this period. The biographical information includes each student's name, date of birth, parent or guardian, home address, place where preliminary work was completed (high school and college attended), and date of acceptance into medical school. Before 1944, the College of Medicine was a two-year program, therefore the school where the student completed his / her education and address while attending that school is given. Beginning with the class of 1942-1945, the student's place of internship is also listed.
